Permanent Magnet Generator Reliable Manufacturer
What is the permanent magnet generator?
The permanent magnet generator is a device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. In this device the rotor windings have been replaced with permanent magnets. Permanent magnet generators are used mostly in industrial applications, like turbines and engines to produce commercial electrical energy, the permanent magnet alternator is an alternate source of energy and has multiple benefits which make it a great device for a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Energy Saving
Green energy solutions have the benefit of not needing much additional energy expenditure after they have been built, since they tend to use a readily renewable source of power, such as the wind.
Green and Clean
The permanent magnet alternator works independently and needs no precious environmental assets to deliver efficient energy output. Hence, it is greener and more eco- friendly.
Maintenance Free
Do not need to spend a lot of time and money on the maintenance work. Just install it and wait there expecting it to make money for you!

Structure
The permanent magnet generator is mainly composed of rotor, end cover and stator. The structure of the stator is very similar to that of an ordinary alternator. The biggest difference between the structure of the rotor and the alternator is that there are high-quality According to the position of the permanent magnet on the rotor, the permanent magnet generator is usually divided into a surface rotor structure and a built-in rotor structure.
The permanent magnet generator uses the principle of electromagnetic induction that the wire cuts the magnetic field line to induce an electric potential, and converts the mechanical energy of the prime mover into electrical energy output. It consists of two parts, the stator and the rotor. The stator is the armature that generates the electricity and the rotor is the magnetic poles. The stator is composed of armature iron core, uniformly discharged three-phase winding, machine base and end cover.
The rotor is usually hidden pole type, which is composed of excitation winding, iron core and shaft, guard ring, center ring and so on.
Working Principle
The excitation winding of the rotor is fed with DC current to generate a magnetic field close to the sinusoidal distribution (called the rotor magnetic field), and its effective excitation flux intersects with the stationary armature winding. When the rotor rotates, the rotor magnetic field rotates together with it. Every time a revolution is made, the magnetic lines of force cut each phase winding of the stator in sequence, and a three-phase AC potential is induced in the three-phase stator winding.
When the pm generator is running with a symmetrical load, the three-phase armature current synthesizes to generate a rotating magnetic field with synchronous speed. The stator and rotor fields interact to generate braking torque. The mechanical torque input from the turbine overcomes the braking torque and works.

Application of PM Generator
Permanent magnet generators provide the ideal solution for the Wind Industry.
By matching the power and speed of the generator to that of the wind turbine, the power system becomes more efficient. No gearboxes are needed, and the efficiency of the alternator exceeds 90%.
Variable speed generators provide a solution for Hydro Industry
Increased efficiency from variable speed technology could make many more small hydro sites economically feasible to develop.
FAQ
1. What Is The Heat Resistance Level Of The Permanent Magnet? What Will Cause The Permanent Magnet Generator To Demagnetize?
The permanent magnets commonly used by our company are neodymium boron iron materials, and the maximum working temperature is different according to the different grades used. For N38EH, the maximum working temperature of its material can reach 200 °C, but we design it as a limit of 180 °C.
Our products are designed with sufficient margins so that the phenomenon of demagnetization due to excessive temperature during use will not occur. As long as there is no large current impact, the permanent magnet of the generator will not be demagnetized, and the use of VFD can avoid the occurrence of large currents.
2. How Noisy Is The Generator Running?
Generator noise varies widely according to the specifications. Permanent magnet generators running below 200 rpm usually have a noise below 80 dab. The noise of permanent magnet generators running at speeds above 750 rpm is generally around 85 dab.
3. What Brand Is The Bearing Of The Generator And How Long Is The Lubrication Cycle?
Our generator bearings are SKF, FAG, NSK, etc., and can also be selected Chinese top brand bearing.
The lubrication cycle of the low-speed direct drive generator varies according to the speed, and is usually maintained once a year.
4. How your permanent magnet generator work?
Our generator needs to be driven by other energy, like wind power, water power, belt, etc, then it can generate electric power.
5. Can you manufacture customized product?
Yes, we can. Please tell your detailed request (power, rpm, voltage, size, color) to our sales, we will customise the generator according to your request.
6.What is the rotate speed of your generator?
Power range: from 5kw to 5000kw
Speed range: from 20rpm to 3000rpm.
